1. The heater must not be installed in living rooms and bathrooms. A hinged boiler may be placed in the corridor, in the kitchen and other non-residential premises on any floor, outdoor extension or a separate boiler room.
2. If a wall-mounted heat generator runs on a liquefied propane-butane mixture from cylinders or a gas tank, it cannot be installed in the basement of a private house.
3. The minimum allowable ceiling height is 2 m, the volume is 7.5 m³. If there is a natural gas water heater in the room, then the requirements become more stringent: the ceiling height should reach 2.5 m, the volume should be 13.5 cubic meters.
4. The room should have windows facing the street. The minimum dimensions of the glazed part are calculated as follows: we multiply the volume of the room by 0.03, we get the area of ​​​​the translucent structure in m².
5. When installing a furnace, supply and exhaust ventilation is required. Within 1 hour, the room air must be renewed three times (3-fold air exchange). To the volume of inflow, we add the air consumed by the burner for fuel combustion. In the kitchen, a window is made for ventilation.
6. The minimum distance from the front panel of the suspended boiler to the wall or other objects is 1250 mm (passage width).

The above rules apply equally to all types of heating units - wall and floor, with an open and closed combustion chamber. The installation site of the boiler must be agreed with the engineer who is developing your project. Air must be bled from the equipment before start-up. Since when installing a gas boiler in an apartment building, the systems are made closed, you need to use the Mayevsky taps available on the radiators. Air is bled in each battery, bypassing them several times in turn until there is no air left in them.After that, the system can be launched into operating mode - turn on the heat supply.

It is necessary to place an electrical outlet and another gas appliance at a distance of at least 30 centimeters from the unit.

The choice of a remote thermostat for a gas boiler is based on taking into account several characteristics, which include the type of connection. Uninterrupted operation is ensured by the contact of the remote module with the device that controls the operation of the gas boiler. From a constructive point of view, there are a couple of main options:

The main disadvantages of mechanics include not too precise setting and the likelihood of errors within 2-3 ° C, as well as the need to periodically adjust the indicators in manual mode.

Electronic

In most cases, electronic thermostats for gas boilers are represented by a remote sensor with a display and a special control element responsible for the operation of the boiler. Currently, for this purpose, models with a timer are used that monitor the air temperature and change it according to the desired schedule, as well as electronic analogues. Chimney installation

Installation of heating on gas in apartments is allowed only with normally functioning ventilation and a system for removing combustion products. In this case, it will not be necessary to carry out several pipes for ventilation and smoke removal.

If several owners in the house want to switch to individual heating at the same time, the chimneys are combined into a single cluster.One vertical pipe is attached outside, to which the horizontal pipes coming from the apartments are connected.

For normal operation of the system, it is necessary to install devices for air circulation with high throughput in the boiler room. Such ventilation should be installed separately, without contact with the general one.

Switching to individual heating: advantages and disadvantages

Switching from central heating to gas requires a lot of money and labor. It takes a lot of time to issue permits, so you need to plan and start collecting the necessary papers long before the proposed installation.

The scheme for connecting a double-circuit gas boiler to the heat supply system of a private house is carried out, as well as a single-circuit one. The difference lies in the presence of additional pipes for the DHW system.They are installed on gas heating boilers as follows:

• On the right, between the gas pipe and the return pipe, there is a branch pipe for connecting to a cold water supply system;
• On the left, between the gas pipe and the supply, there is a pipe for supplying hot water to the local DHW system.

Just like a heating system, the DHW pipes are separated from the boiler by ball valves at separate connections. Connection of cold and hot water supply is carried out without any restrictions. As an additional element, a special filter is used on the cold water supply pipe. It is recommended to use it in old systems with a centralized water supply with a large amount of solid insoluble particles in the stream. They can settle on the walls of the secondary circuit heat exchanger, reducing the heating efficiency.

The unit comes with a user manual. The document contains the basic rules for operating the boiler:

• If there is a burning smell in the room, do not turn on the light, smoke, use the phone. The device is immediately turned off from the network, and the boiler room is ventilated.
• There must be a place for service near the device. A gap of 30 cm is needed above and below the structure. 10 cm remains on the side and 60 cm near the front.
• With a long departure, the valves for heating, hot water supply and gas supply are closed.
• The recommended coolant pressure is from 1 to 2 bar.
• Do not store explosive and flammable substances, paint and varnish products near the boiler.
