On the ceiling, painting may be appropriate here and the floor made of mosaic or marble will complement the whole picture. Antique style is also characterized by high windows and spacious rooms, the presence of arches.The color scheme of this style includes the following colors: blue, green, yellow, gold, and red, while there are calm colors - ivory.
Baroque
The origin of this style is Italy at the end of the 16th century. Came to Russia in the 18th century. The main feature of this style is the curved space and the abundance of frescoes, flowers, and gilding. Baroque is wealth and power. The main color of this style is gold. And to highlight it, you need to choose either neutral shades, or, conversely, dark ones (bordeaux, blue, rich green will look rich). The walls in this style are decorated in relief, a lot of stucco, moldings, borders, voluminous textile wallpaper, plaster, frescoes. The ceiling must be a continuation of the wall, so it cannot be flat. Stucco decorations, painting (gold color) and frescoes are also used. The floor is most often a tree, or an artificial parquet imitation of expensive wood, a carpet is allowed, but it should not be covered over the entire floor space.
Classicism
This style is not baroque at all. It originated in Europe in the 17th century, and was very popular for a long time (until the 19th century). Classicism in Russia originated during the reign of Catherine the Great.
The main colors of the classicism style are white, yellow, pink, blue. The room should be spacious, it is not desirable to delimit the space with walls. Furniture should be arranged in strict symmetry. To increase natural light, you need to hang large mirrors and install large windows. Wall decoration is made in pastel colors with textiles.The ceiling is made in classic white tones, ceiling borders, using fine stucco. The floor is a classic color scheme of light tones, the parquet is laid in a mosaic style. Curtains are preferably made of silk, plain, without tassels and frills.
