Is it worth it to choose a glass staircase?
It is widely believed that glass is considered a fragile material, so it is not necessary to think about stairs first. However, specially made glass stairs are safe: they are made from specially adapted elements and consist of several layers of tempered glass, between which foil is laid. All this makes the railings and steps very resistant to shock and weight. On glass steps and platforms, we use an anti-slip coating on the outside of the glass to ensure the safety of users and make it easier to walk smoothly on them. The type of anti-slip coating can be designed arbitrarily, or we can use ready-made patterns. The transparency of the glass staircase makes the interior visually brighter and more spacious.
Peculiarities
Modern glass stairs are a trendy solution and an extremely fast growing segment of the construction market in recent times. They are a great addition to a modern avant-garde interior or a departure from a more classic style. They can play a major role in the room or be invisible (transparent - they can be almost invisible at first glance).
