Quilting the bedspread
To sew a quilted bedspread on the bed with your own hands was easier, you need to choose the right stitch pattern
This is especially important for beginner craftswomen. No matter how hard the seamstress tries, in the process of quilting the material collects and sagging appears.
The smaller the drawing, the greater the flow. Therefore, it is optimal to choose medium or large patterns that look just as good as small ones, but are easier to perform and collect fabric less.
Despite the apparent simplicity of the stitch, it is a rather complicated operation. Its main difficulty lies in the execution of a line with minimal shrinkage of the fabric and without sagging. Experienced dressmakers advise beginners to practice on a piece of material, or even better, try to sew a baby blanket.In any case, for the first product, you need to choose an inexpensive fabric and remember that it is not recommended to rip out incorrectly laid lines - traces of punctures may remain.
Another subtlety: the location of the pattern on the quilted bedspread is subject to certain rules. The figures should be evenly spaced throughout the panel, without shifting in any direction. Therefore, on a sheet of paper, we perform the calculation and preliminary layout of the motif of the pattern. Then, having accurately calculated its dimensions, we cut out the template from paper and check how it will lay out on the product. If our calculations are wrong, we make adjustments and make a new template.
Before stitching, you need to transfer the pattern to the material. The usual chalk and pencil are not used here. You can use washable felt-tip pens or special paper that sticks to the fabric. Successful craftswomen recommend a more time-consuming, but very effective method: basting with contrasting threads. It involves drawing a pattern on the cloth with hand stitches. This method has an additional plus - all layers of the product will be fixed and it will be easier to work with it.
A do-it-yourself quilted bedspread master class usually shows how quickly and easily stitches are laid. In fact, it all depends on the skill. To prevent the fabric from gathering, set the stitch length control to the maximum. When sewing, we stretch the material to the sides so that the needle is always located between the hands. We try not to pull the fabric too hard in one direction, so as not to break the needle.
Slowly and carefully we move along the basting line, performing a straight line
Decor

To increase the bedspread, you can use various decorative elements.Fringe and frills, braid and lace, tassels and pompoms - there are a lot of options, you just have to choose the one that will be in harmony with the main canvas. At the same time, it is permissible to use both ready-made decor, which is sold in any store for sewing goods, and hand-made. It can be attached from opposite sides of the product, and around the entire perimeter, depending on how much it is necessary to lengthen the bedspread.
Choosing the most affordable option will allow you to do without special financial costs and use the materials that are at hand. Moreover, an individual approach and bold design solutions will help turn even the most ordinary bedspread into a stylish and unique interior decoration.
Pompom bedspread

From yarn you can make not only a knitted product, but also incredibly delicate and fluffy from pompons. It is ideal for baby cots. A master with extensive experience can make such a bedspread on a bed with his own hands in just a few hours. Beginners will need 2-3 days.
To make a cover you will need
- wooden frame of the size of the future product,
- nails,
- yarn,
- scissors.

Nails must be driven into the wooden frame. The distance between them should be 4-4.5 cm above the frame, 5 cm of the nail (1) should remain.
Tie a thread to the outermost nail. Then, as shown in the diagram, first make horizontal rows (2), and then vertical (3). For the base of the plaid, you will need to do 15-20 repetitions (30-40 threads at the intersection), and another 30-35 repetitions for pompoms (60-70 at the intersection). For beginners, it is better to take warp threads and pompoms of different colors, this will greatly simplify the work in the future. A sufficiently voluminous grid (4) has been obtained.Each intersection must be tightly tied crosswise so that the hairs of future pompoms do not spill out (5)
It is very important not to miss a single intersection. It is better to take threads in the colors of the base so that they are not noticeable on the finished product, and make knots on the top layer of the bedspread
Now cut the pom pom strings in half around each intersection (6). Already at this moment, the cover takes on an almost finished form (7). After all the pompoms are cut, it is necessary to remove the finished product from the frame. To do this, carefully cut in half all the threads in half between the carnations and fasten immediately. This can be done with a double knot or thread, forming tassels.
There are quite a lot of types of bedspreads, they can be of different shapes, structures, colors, but one thing unites them. We knit them, weave or sew them with our own hands, in any case, the bedspread on the bed will bring comfort and warmth to the room, because it is made with love.
Bed decoration options
Using the bedspread for its intended purpose, you can pull it down by a third, and add decorative pillows to the upper part. Such a composition will be very effective if the bedspread and pillows have an unobtrusive pattern, and the bedding is white, beige or another calm shade. Decorating a bed, for example, in a guest room, you can lay an elegant bedspread, folded in a long wide strip at the legs. To achieve the completeness of the composition, one cannot do without decorative pillows of the same design. If some of the bed linens are in bright hues, you can create a response in a multi-color textured throw located at the legs - the effect will be amazing! Catching up on the bed, do not forget about the back.So, a soft plain headboard will look very unusual if you throw a printed bedspread over it.
Options for embroidery and appliqués
In the absence of the possibility of selecting a fabric with a plot pattern, the appliqué technique is used. The plaid is sewn according to the patchwork method, fixing flowers, houses or other images on some squares. If you put a fleece or synthetic winterizer under the figures, you get a three-dimensional product. You can follow the technique of embroidery.
If you have experience, a blanket is sewn in the form of a general picture (for example, a house). Adhering to this technology, a steam locomotive with wagons, a car, a Christmas tree are embroidered. Patchwork uses the orinuno method (cloth folding), which is similar to origami. The flap is pre-folded and then fixed.
Stitching squares is done in the traditional way. The finished upper is assembled with lining and padding. The edge is processed with an inlay. In this way, voluminous patchwork bedspreads are made. Orinuno's execution scheme is different. Most often used flowers of four petals.

The workpiece is turned over. At the top, a square without folds is obtained. Its lower edge rises to the center. The fold lines should remain parallel to each other. An “ear” is formed from two perpendicular sides. It is fixed with threads. The 3 remaining “ears” are made in a similar way. They are pulled out.
If there is no fabric available from which to cut large squares, stripes are used. They make a blanket out of them. Elements of the product are made of plain fabrics. The original solution is the use of matter in three colors. 3 stripes are cut out of each shade. The second and third element should be equal to the width of half of the first stripe.Sew along the length of 2 and 3 strips to get two ribbons of the same size.
Then identical triangles are cut from the strips. When drawing up squares from triangles, the patchwork technique is observed. A blanket is sewn from the squares. Its edges are trimmed with inlay. It is necessary to make a lining with a gasket. It has been proven that patchwork has a positive effect on the nervous system. It is used in orphanages of creativity.
Bonbon bedspread
These bedspreads are distinguished by their special volume and airiness. They look great on both children's and adult beds. The bonbon technique is a type of patchwork. Sewing a bedspread on the bed with your own hands, as in the photo below, is not very simple, but certainly interesting.

To create such a bedspread, you will need a fabric - a base, a fabric for the upper bubbles, about 2-4 times more than the main fabric, threads and a filler: synthetic winterizer or holofiber.

- Before cutting, you need to determine the amount of fabric. To do this, you need square cuts of fabric 13 * 13 cm and 20 * 20. On a smaller square, make a 10 * 10 markup in the center. Now, along the marking line, sew three sides of the larger square, forming folds. They can be arbitrary, go from the center or from the edges (No. 3 in the figure). Fill the resulting pocket with padding polyester. This is 1 bubble. At this stage, the upper square can be either increased or decreased, depending on the desire. When the optimal bubble volume is selected, you can proceed to the calculation. Divide the area of the future cover by 100 (the area of \u200b\u200bthe square is 10 * 10). The resulting number is the number of bubbles on the bedspread.Based on this, calculate the size of the fabric.
- Prepare the material, iron, cut. If more than one color of fabric will be used, then prepare a color scheme on a piece of paper. Cut out the base fabric, adding 1.5-3 cm along the edges for their processing, draw it into 10x10 squares (1).
- Sew the squares of the top fabric into stripes (2). Iron the seams in different directions so that there are no extra layers of fabric.
- Now you need to sew the ribbons to the base. To do this, lay the base wrong side up. Put the tape face down on it so that the top marking line is 1-1.5 cm higher from the bottom edge of the tape. Using safety pins, form the folds of each square. It is necessary to ensure that the seam of the connection of the squares coincides with the transverse markings.
Important! Since this strip will turn over, you need to carefully monitor the folds. If folds were chosen from the center, then on the wrong side they should be, on the contrary, from the corners
Sew a strip of squares to the base, lower the tape with the wrong side to the wrong side of the base. Its edge is hidden. If no other processing of the edge of the bedspread is implied, then it can also be hidden inside. To do this, at the first stage, the front side of the strip of squares is combined with the front base, stitched, turned inside out, ironed to avoid edge displacement.
Next, you need to flash the sides of each square. To do this, the extreme edges are tucked inward, folds are formed with safety pins, and they are sewn on a typewriter.
Important! It is necessary to carefully connect the seam between the squares with the marking line and flash it. Try not to run over a single square
Put a heater in the resulting pockets (4), form folds with safety pins and attach to the base. The edge does not need to be folded in.
The next row is sewn like the previous one, only this time the first stitch should match the last stitch on the finished row (5).
The last row is sewn in reverse order - first the bottom edge, then the side parts. We fill the cover with synthetic winterizer, then, having folded the edge and formed folds, we make a connecting seam. It will sink between the bubbles and will not be visible.
At the end of the work, it is required to remove excess threads, if necessary, process the edge. To do this, you can use an oblique trim, a double lapel, ruffles, or make a third layer of fabric to hide the seams on the bottom of the bedspread.
A handmade bedspread can be a great gift for any occasion.
Plaid with braids and aran
A chic knitted plaid with your own hands can be made with a pattern of braids and aran. Weaves can be placed only along the edge or over the entire surface. You can use any patterns you like.

The basis for wicker patterns is usually the wrong side. For beginners, it is better to choose models with a minimum content of patterns. Knitting hosiery is rarely difficult.

Weaves as a pattern are ideal for threads of any thickness. A do-it-yourself large-knit blanket, despite the bulkiness of the thing, can be created in a few days. Working with thin threads can take a long time.

Fabric choice
The fabric for the bedspread is selected for the rest of the room decoration. Most often used:
- wool - pure wool types of matter are expensive, have a lot of weight.Therefore, mixed ones are often used - they are a little lighter, easier to care for, decorated with bright patterns;
- acrylic - bright, fluffy, light, almost no shrinkage. Dries quickly, lasts a long time, ideal for children's bedrooms;
- tapestry - dense, heavy, usually motley. Not suitable for small beds, cramped rooms, look great in "classic" living rooms;
- velvet is luxurious, expensive, but wears out quickly. Its use is appropriate if there is one or two more velvet elements in the room;
- bamboo, cotton - thin, light, easy-to-wash materials, to which polyester is often added. The best option for a summer blanket;
- viscose - it is cheap, it is an artificial fabric, but in many properties it is equal to natural, it shrinks after washing;
- silk - thin, smooth, best suited for "oriental" interiors. Fades quickly in the sun, wash it by hand or in a delicate mode;
- faux fur - looks chic, is made mainly of synthetic materials, is highly electrified, difficult to care for;
- plush, fleece - used as blankets for newborns, as well as older girls and boys. The fabric is very soft, but requires the most careful washing, shrinks, sometimes used as a lining;
- sintepon - used for the manufacture of quilts, bedspreads exclusively as a lining.

If there are allergy sufferers among the tenants, this factor is taken into account when choosing a fabric. If there are pets, small children, preference is given to the most non-staining materials.

How to calculate product dimensions and fabric consumption?
Having decided to sew a new bedspread on the bed with your own hands, it is recommended to study the rules for calculating matter. You can calculate the dimensions of the canvas in the following way:
- Measure the parameters of the bed. Its height, length and width will be needed to model the product.
- On a sheet of paper, schematically draw a bedspread. The drawing will help to recreate the product model in a reduced format. The drawn rectangle, if necessary, should be supplemented with a frill of the required height. If the bed has a headboard, such elements are needed only in the amount of three pieces, and not four, as in the case of the absence of a wall part at the bed.
- Account for shrinkage and seam allowances. For this, 3-5 cm is enough.
- Mark in the figure the lines of the intended seams in the case of sewing a quilted product. This measure will allow you to correct the pattern you don’t like without damaging the materials and problems for the sewing process.
To determine the consumption of matter, you need to know its width. If this parameter is 1.4 m, to make a bedspread for a double bed, you will need to sew 2 parts of the main fabric, which will negatively affect the appearance of the finished product, depriving it of aesthetics. To prevent this from happening, you need to use matter of the required width.
To determine the amount of fabric for the front surface of the bedspread, you need to know the length and width, adding a few centimeters to these parameters. In the consumption of material for a product with a frill, wrinkles should be taken into account. In the presence of these parts, the length of the required canvas increases by one and a half times.

With a material width of 2.8 m, in most cases one length of the product is sufficient.At the same time, for sewing frills, the remaining fabric from the width should be enough. If the canvas has a width of 1.4 meters, it is required to lay twice the length of the matter and the total length of all sides, including the frill. In this situation, the consumption of material is significant, and the quality of the product is reduced due to additional seams.
How to sew a bedspread with your own hands
In order to make tailoring bedspreads, a basic knowledge of cutting and sewing is enough.

The right choice of pattern determines the basis of the product. The rectangular shape is the easiest to sew, especially if you are doing it for the first time.

Choose a size
First of all, you need to understand what size bedspread you would like to sew:
- Use tape to measure the length, width and height of the bed. This will help in building patterns and modeling bedspreads.
- on a squared notebook sheet, build a drawing in the desired scale. So you can clearly see the design of the bedspread model and more accurately determine the final result.
- when drawing, do not forget to take into account seam allowances and fabric fit (expect to leave two or more centimeters). This is necessary to be able to adjust the pattern, protecting yourself from unnecessary consumption of materials.

The number of headboards, the presence or absence of a headboard are also taken into account. At a bed with a headboard, you need to add the height of the bed and an allowance for bending the edge (about 4 centimeters) to the length. If there is no headboard, then double the height and double the hem allowance are added to the length of the bed.

Bedspread with frill
To make a pattern of a bedspread with frills, you can use the same measurements as for a regular bedspread without a frill.The main difference will be that the rectangle in the center of the bed must be cut out separately, taking into account the seam allowances of 2 centimeters at the junction of the panel and the frill.

When calculating the size of the frill, use the rule: the length of the fabric on the sides should be one and a half or two times the length of the bed. And if you want splendor, then cost a little, increase the length, and then the frill will look more elegant.

Complex bedspread
The design of the bedspread with two tiers is as simple as it may seem at first glance. The edge can be either straight or curly. At your discretion, the panel can be made with a thin layer of synthetic lining. In this case, it will have an additional decoration with a curly clasp.

Making a bedspread
So, when everything is ready for sewing, you can safely start creating.

The most necessary tools and materials for sewing bedspreads of any model will be:
- the cloth;
- scissors;
- sewing machine and measuring instruments.

Please note that the fabric you choose has an impact on the difficulty of sewing. When working with silk and satin, you need to be careful when cutting out the details and the panel and with the very further tailoring.
Cutting and sewing must be strictly on a flat surface. If the bedspread is supposed to have a lining, then it must be cut out in the same way as the main details.

When all the details are ready for sewing, we proceed to the final stage: we grind all the elements into a single product on a sewing machine. The lining (if any) is folded exactly with the main part of the bedspread and sewn together.

To decorate the bedspreads, you can use various ideas: it can be ruffles, zigzag seams, and the use of geometric shapes in choosing the location of the elements of the panel. For example, by placing ruffles in an interesting way, you can get an interesting and original style.

Sewing with braid or sewn flowers from fabric patches will be a great addition to the design of the bedspread. Here your imagination is not limited by anything, and in the simplest ways you can make a very beautiful and original design.

The key to success in sewing bedspreads is your accuracy and attention when performing calculations. If everything is done with high quality, then, undoubtedly, such a bedroom design item as a hand-sewn bedspread will bring joy and catch the eye of all family members and friends.
double product
By analogy with a simple bedspread, you can make a double product. 2 identical rectangles are cut out of the fabric according to the given dimensions. It is permissible to use fabrics for the top and bottom of the product with different colors and textures. The halves are folded wrong side up. Details are connected by a line along the edges. The product is turned out.

When sewing, you can additionally put a synthetic winterizer inside. This will ensure the insulation of the product. On the front side, you can lay lines, strengthening the surface. Such a bedspread on the bed with your own hands will turn out to be quilted. It is permissible to immediately take the fabric with the finished stitch. This will make the task easier.

Preparation for work
Before you start sewing, you need to determine the amount of material needed. First, measure the length and width of the bed. Add a few centimeters on each side so that the bedspread fits nicely.Decide whether you will cover pillows with them. If yes, then they will also need to add the length and width. Consider whether the bedspread will hang off the bed and how long the free part should be. Think about whether this part will be sewn separately, or will be part of a single canvas. In this case, centimeters will be added to the length and width of the bedspread. In order not to get confused, make a preliminary diagram on paper, writing down all the dimensions.
When the sketch is ready, proceed to the choice of material. Usually bedspreads are made of cotton, linen, satin or silk. But in modern stores, the choice of fabrics is very large, so you can not limit yourself to only these types. Choose the fabric that best suits the texture, weight, and color.
If you decide to sew a patchwork cover with your own hands, then you will need not one piece of fabric, but many patches of different colors. It is best if these are fabrics of the same type. For example, cotton canvas, but in different colors.
In addition to the main fabric, you will need:
- Threads in the tone of matter.
- Lining fabric. Inexpensive cotton usually does an excellent job of this role.
- Filler (synthetic winterizer, holofiber, etc.).
- Decor elements: braid, lace, fringe, tassels, ruffles or flounces.
- Auxiliary materials: pins, scissors, needles, a piece of cardboard, a ruler and a measuring tape.
- Iron and sewing machine.
Why make a bed?
Since the bedroom is one of the most important places in the house, it is worth treating this space with special attention and warmth. The bed is the "king" of the bedroom, and all attention in the interior, one way or another, is riveted to it.
And we are talking not only about the external component, the functionality of the place is more important here.In the bedroom, and in particular in bed, a person spends the lion's share of time, so this piece of furniture is simply obliged to please both the soul and the body of its owner.
The right choice of linen, regular care for it, a well-chosen mattress and pillow, a blanket for a particular season - in a word, equipping a bed is not so easy
And when everything is already done, the right accessories are bought, which you carefully follow, it's time to pay attention to aesthetics.
Making a bed every day is a bit of an exhausting task, and everyone probably has a desire to leave the bed in the state in which it is in the morning, because in the evening they go back to it. Is it possible to be guided by such logic? We will explain why this is not the best idea:
- Aesthetics: of course, a beautifully made bed is pleasing to the eye, it sets the tone for the entire interior, instantly making it cleaner and more organized.
- Method of self-organization: forcing yourself to make your bed in the morning is a small feat, a good start to the day and an impetus to new achievements.
- Hygiene: A covered bed protects bed linens from foreign sources of contamination, which can be pets, children, and even you when you come home so tired that you allow yourself to sit on the “bed” in “street” clothes.
- Compliance with the daily routine: in the morning, in an already made bed, it is not at all desirable to lie down “for five minutes”, and in the evening, when preparing the bed, the brain generates signals to prepare for sleep. As a result, you get a sound and healthy sleep, while falling asleep quickly.
We select the color of the bedspread on the bed
“The bedspreads that are not tied to the overall design will be perceived harmoniously only when the main background of the bedroom is neutral or made in pastel colors”
In a bedspread, of course, both the cut and the material are important, but the main indicator for using it in a particular interior is its coloring. Especially if this element is supposed to fit into a ready-made, and not just a situation that is being created. In this case, the product is selected in color:
- furniture.
- Stan.
-
Interior accessories.
nautical print bedspread
In the first case, the bedspreads are selected to match not only upholstered furniture, but also wood.
In the second case, things are a little more complicated. The coverlet seems to repeat the color of the walls, but a complete “merger” should not occur. Diversity has never hurt. On the contrary, it makes the decor textured and interesting. For blue wallpaper with a pattern, you need to purchase a bedspread in the same color spectrum, but with some excellent ornament or no patterns at all. If the wall is monophonic, then the pattern on the bedspread must be mandatory. They will help to understand the question of how to choose bedspreads for the bed in this case, photos on design sites. You will see that variety can be made not only with painted fabrics, but also by decorating the bedspread with appliqué, embroidery or decorative piping.

dark bedspread in the interior of the bedroom in modern style
In the third case, you will choose a bedspread to match the color prevailing in the interior. You can play with shades, but only within the leading color palette. If the bedroom is decorated mainly in white and brown tones, then the bedspread can be white, beige or brown.In a blue-green interior, the bedspread can naturally have green or blue colors, as well as variations in blue, turquoise, mint and other spectral solutions. The bedspread can have, so to speak, a medium shade, loyal to the dominant colors in the environment.
Be that as it may, you should remember one rule that can be followed in difficult situations: when choosing the color of the bedspread, be guided by the size of the room. In small bedrooms, warm shades from the beige-pink range will be needed.
If you decide to make the bed the center of the interior, then choose eye-catching products. In this case, the curtains should make up the company for the bedspreads on the bed. Do not get carried away with shiny fabrics in cold colors, they will deprive the room of the comfort it needs.

printed cotton bedspread
The combination of bedspreads and curtains will be needed in bedrooms recreated in strict classical canons. If the situation in the room is less demanding, then you can limit yourself to the harmony of patterns on the bedspread and curtains. Do you want to see a plain bedspread on the bed? Please! Harmony in the interior will bring a path that matches the color scheme of the curtains. It is placed on top of the veil.
The interior is extremely beautiful, where the bedspreads are in harmony with the wallpaper. Here, too, either a partial combination of shades is required, or their complete coincidence. If the wallpaper has a color pattern, choose a bedspread according to its color spectrum, and not the general background.
The right decision would be to match the color of the bedspread to match the furniture, especially if the bed is one of the elements of the suite, and it has a high headboard.Do you have dark furniture and are you afraid that the interior will turn out gloomy? Take a look on the Internet, there the bedspreads on the bed are presented in beautiful multi-angle photos. You will surely find a design variation for your case.

elegant ruffle bedspread in the bedroom
Choosing a bedspread according to the main colors of the interior is a less difficult task, since you have enough room for imagination. Most often they stop at products that are in harmony with the leading interior colors. For example, if you are the owner of a chocolate bedroom, then look for a beige, cream or milky bedspread.
Modern decors are unpredictable. Very often, the bedspreads in them do not just not match the tone, but, on the contrary, look flashy, instantly attracting the eye with their brightness. Bedspreads that are not tied to the overall design will be perceived harmoniously only when the main background of the bedroom is neutral or made in pastel colors. What does it look like in practice? In an interior with a beige and sand tone, the bed can be covered with an orange bedspread. If you are disgusted by such a solution and it seems not at all elegant, try to associate the colors of the bedspread with the colors of the accessories in the bedroom. Tie it to the lampshade of a floor lamp or sconce, a bedside rug, a napkin covering a chest of drawers.

Do-it-yourself patchwork blanket of squares

For tailoring you will need:
- squares of cotton fabrics, different colors, 25 cm by 25 cm - 20 pcs.;
- seal or fleece - 105 cm by 130 cm;
- fabric for the wrong side - 105 cm by 130 cm;
- thread, sewing tool.
How to sew a blanket
To sew a patchwork quilt with our own hands, we prepare the required number of square patches.
Then lay out the squares 4 pcs. for 5 pieces, combining them by color.

Let's start sewing a blanket from multi-colored shreds with our own hands by making horizontal stripes. To do this, fold the squares in pairs with the front sides to each other. First we will sew the sides of each pair on the right side of the stack, then we will have to stitch the squares on the other side.

We continue patchwork by grinding the finished strips. One common detail is sewn from them.
The technique for assembling a patchwork quilt is as follows: fold the strips with the front sides, cut off, paying attention to the coincidence of the lines of the transverse stitching seams

We cut the stripes into a common canvas.

We iron all the seams.

From the seal we cut out a rectangular part, equal in size to the patchwork. We place the sealant on a horizontal flat surface, lay the patchwork part on top with the front side up.

We cut out the blank for the bottom part of the bedspread and put it on the laid out parts of the seal and the top face down. We chop off a three-layer "sandwich", sew, leaving an open area.

Cut off excess allowance, turn inside out.

Carefully straighten the seams, paying special attention to the corners, iron the product. At the same time, we turn the allowances in the open area inward
We sew up the open area on a typewriter, although you can manually sew it with blind stitches.

The blanket is voluminous and warm. Given the multi-layeredness, it is recommended to quilt all patchwork bedspreads. Let's do it with a regular simple line. We carry it out in the seams of stitching the flaps.

Volume cover is ready!
Soft hand-knitted blanket
With the help of modern yarn with ready-made eyelets, it is easy to create a plaid with your own hands without knitting.It is enough to purchase special yarn, weave the product using simple technology. Puffy threads or analogues are suitable for work.

The loops are interlaced with fingers, imitating ordinary knitting. There are various schemes that allow you to get a result similar to knitting or crocheting. In this way, it is easy to create both a simple canvas and a pattern.

Such blankets are popular as children's options. This is due to the specifics of truly handmade, hypoallergenic, amazing softness of the material.
