Mandatory

Equipment that you can't do without includes:
- Filtration.
- Pumping.
- Climatic. The equipment of this category includes heat exchangers for heating water, electric heaters, as well as air dryers and temperature sensors.
- Disinfection devices. The most common types of such equipment are dispensers and ozonizers.
Pumps
The pump can be considered the main equipment, because without it it will not even be possible to fill the container with water. In addition, the water flow supplied by the pump ensures the operation of many other devices installed in an artificial reservoir.
Filters
Filters must be installed to purify water from various contaminants. Without filtration, the water will very quickly become cloudy, and rest in it is uncomfortable and unsafe.
Heat exchangers and electric water heaters
The best option for heating is the installation of a heat exchanger. These devices quickly heat water.The heat exchanger can be connected to various types of boilers, solar systems and heat pumps.
Electric heating is usually used for small pools. Electric heaters are flow-through, that is, the passage of water through them is carried out continuously. They operate from a three-phase network, are small in size, have a thermostat for power control and a water flow sensor. Thanks to these features, electric water heaters are reliable, safe and do their job perfectly. In addition, you can buy them at a budget price.
Dosers and ozonizers
Dosing stations check water for the content of various impurities and microorganisms in it, determine the required dosage of reactive substances (usually chlorine) needed to neutralize them, and restore the required level of hydrogen index (pH). Dosing stations have an automatic operation device, which practically eliminates errors in the analysis of water and the calculation of the required dosages of chemical reagents.
The best manufacturers of dispensers are:
- Etatron;
- Dinotek;
- Bayrol Pool Relax.
Ozonation is considered the preferred method of disinfection. The ozonation plant is usually an integral part of the filtration system and starts working when the filtration is turned on.
How to choose the right one?
First of all, a design diagram of the entire pool with additional installations is drawn up. The selection of materials, as well as their cost, calculation - all this is compiled later by an experienced cost estimate engineer.
In general, the design of a structure includes the following steps.
- Determining the dimensions of the bowl.This, as a rule, is directly related to the financial capabilities of the owner, as well as the territory on which the pool will be located.
- Under the volume of the bowl, equipment is selected depending on the power of each device.
- Various additional accessories and installations are added to the circuit.
- All necessary materials are calculated.

Some of the equipment is selected and installed at the moment when the pool bowl is being built. During construction, some conditions may change, and the equipment noted in the estimate will require replacement or other installation. In particular, these are pipelines of heating and water circulation systems. Also, immediately during this process, wiring for fixtures is carried out.
The main thing in equipping the pool is to carefully install the remote unit, with which you can control all the pool systems.

The minimum set of equipment for the pool is presented below.
Installation of equipment
Installation is carried out according to the approved project. After all, this is the only way to ensure the normal and full operation of any artificial reservoir. When building a new pool, the installation of equipment begins at the stage of building the bowl and includes the installation of heating systems, water pipes, filtration systems and other things. During installation, all technological standards are observed, so it is better to entrust such a task to knowledgeable professionals. The price for the work will depend on the volume and complexity of the work, as well as on the type of equipment that will be installed.

heating system
There are several types of pool heating systems.
- First of all, this is the heating system of the house itself. An additional heat exchanger is attached to it, through which water is pumped. Water is heated by burning coal or gas.
- Also, the water in the pool can be heated by a special electric heater. It looks like a boiler for heating water, which is installed in apartments or houses. It is the most comfortable to use, however, its installation requires a special permit from Energonadzor. For such a system, the installation of high-quality insulation, grounding, and RCD is mandatory. For pools where sea water is used, it is necessary to install models with a titanium body.
- A more environmentally friendly way to heat your pool water is to use solar panels. They have little power and not very high efficiency, however, as a rule, this is enough to heat a small pool.
For most of these buildings in the open air, a heating system is not installed. The water in the pool is heated by the sun.
Quite often, heating is a very costly affair. Therefore, the pool bowl is covered with a black polyester film. It not only helps to keep warm, but also can reduce the heating time of the pool.

What do you need to clean and filter water?
Ideally, all installed disinfection devices should make the water in the pool drinkable, but in reality this does not happen. Installations responsible for water purification and filtration are the "heart" of the pool. If this equipment breaks down, it is undesirable to use the pool. The water in it will sharply deteriorate in quality.
The basis of water purification, as you know, is ordinary filtration. Propylene cartridges or sand-glass analogues serve as filters. Among other materials used for filtration are diatomaceous earth, anthracite chips, zeolite and others. The service life of such equipment is about 5 years.

Another equally important part of such equipment is the pump. Most often, it is quite simple in terms of the mechanism of its work - screw or centrifugal. In order to avoid jamming of the impeller, a pre-filter is installed on the pump. It prevents the suction of relatively large objects by the pump. Filters, like pre-filters, require regular replacement. The average period of their use is about 2000 hours.
Also, the set of this equipment includes devices that saturate water with chlorine or free ozone. The latter are cheaper and more efficient. An analogue to them can be bactericidal ultraviolet lamps. This also includes a bio-float with a bactericidal tablet, which is gradually washed out of it while in the water.
An important factor is the influence of ventilation equipment, which is installed in indoor pools.

Pump equipment
We have already mentioned pumps above, and now we will dwell on them in more detail. Their task is to ensure the constancy of the circulation of the liquid. Before purchasing a pump, you need to know which one you need - for a public or private pool. The first is more powerful than the second. Pumps are divided, as already mentioned, into two main types - self-priming (centrifugal) and with normal suction (screw). The first ones are always installed above the level of the water table.They are able to "raise" water up to 3 meters. Such a pump works as follows: first, the liquid is pumped from the pool into the skimmer, and then into the filter, then it is sent back to the pool.
The second type of pumps is designed to create fountains or bubbles. Such a device is also installed on slides to create a directed flow of water. They can also create a small undercurrent inside the pool.

Additional
Equipment that is not considered mandatory, but is purchased by many to provide more comfortable operation or more efficient water purification, is:
- Devices for creating a massage effect. Such devices include inflows that create an artificial flow.
- Cleaning equipment. For example, vacuum cleaners for swimming pools make it much easier to clean the walls and bottom of the bowl.
- Artificial fountains and waterfalls.
- Springboards, ladders, slides and other devices.
- Tena to protect water from pollution.
Counter current
Countercurrents are designed not only to provide a pleasant and beneficial massage, but also to create conditions for a full workout in small pools.
Vacuum cleaners
There are three types of vacuum cleaners:
- Manual. Such devices are suitable for small artificial reservoirs and are usually used to clean pools up to 40 cubic meters. Various nozzles and brushes of hand-held vacuum cleaners make cleaning convenient and efficient, as they allow you to get to dirt in the most inaccessible places.
- Semiautomatic. Semi-automatic differ from manual in a more advanced way of cleaning.They are connected to a filtration system or to a skimmer. Semi-automatic water vacuum cleaners are equipped with suction cups that provide sliding on the surface. They can change the water pressure, which makes cleaning more efficient. The quality and speed of cleaning is regulated by the flushing valve.
- Automatic. Robotic vacuum cleaners are great for cleaning large pools. They are vacuum, equipped with reusable cartridges, as well as a filtration system and additionally purify water. Automatic units descend directly into the water and clean the surface without human intervention thanks to pollution-determining sensors.
The minimum set of equipment for different types of pools
In this article, we will look at a number of equipment that a stationary pool should be equipped with. It is a fairly solid structure, its base is most often concrete, so its equipment and construction must be taken seriously. Such a pool cannot be moved, and repairs if installed incorrectly will require considerable effort.
It is believed that each owner can choose the equipment with which he can equip the pool, at his discretion. However, there is a minimum set of devices required for its operation. They carry out good water treatment (a process whose purpose is to bring water to a composition that meets sanitary and hygienic standards). The list of devices includes:
- devices responsible for water disinfection;
- heating system;
- pumping and filtering devices;
- lamps;
- ladder;
- side rails.
If you are planning to equip not an outdoor pool, but, for example, a similar structure in a bathhouse, then a number of installations are added to this list:
- air ventilation system;
- dryer.
In a conventional outdoor pool, filtration and purification of water can be carried out once every 24 hours.

The set of devices for a jacuzzi is much smaller than for a pool. Among the main devices required for installation in this case, one can note a hydraulic pump, a jet, a water intake, as well as a number of water-directing nozzles.
A children's pool can be the cheapest in terms of the cost of equipping it with devices. For low inflatable models, only one hose for filling will be enough.
