Appearance and design
The classic shape and traditional white color of the indoor unit does not attract much attention and is in harmony with any room design. Rounded corners and a silver insert on the front panel give the air conditioner a stylish look, but do not make it too flashy.
The design of Ballu BSAG-07HN1_17Y does not differ from other home split systems. The outdoor unit installed outside the room is connected to the indoor unit fixed on the wall of the room. The outdoor unit is quite compact and weighs 23 kilograms. It contains a compressor and other heavy parts. The indoor unit weighing 8 kilograms differs from most similar systems in its small width. This facilitates its installation among other communications or room furniture.
The housing of the indoor unit is made of high quality plastic coated with UV protection. It does not turn yellow over time, unlike the material of many other budget-class air conditioners. Therefore, Ballu is an excellent choice among split systems for an apartment.
The maximum length of the freon route, electric cable and drainage hose is 15 meters.This allows you to fix the indoor unit in any convenient place without being tied to the installation site of the outdoor unit.
The aluminum heat exchanger of the air conditioner is processed using the patented Golden Fin technology. It involves the use of a special coating that protects aluminum from the effects of aggressive environments and prevents its destruction as a result of corrosion.
Infrared remote control with liquid crystal display, which reflects the current temperature and information about the settings and parameters of the system. Illumination of the keys and sound confirmation of switching modes makes it easier to control the split system at any time of the day.
The remote control performs the following actions:
- activation of the split system operation mode (there are 4 options);
- target temperature adjustment;
- changing the fan speed;
- choice of room cooling mode: economical, night, automatic, intensive;
- changing the position of the blinds directing the air flow;
- setting the air conditioner on/off timer.
For reliable reception of signals, the distance from the remote control to the receiver should not exceed 7 meters. Taking into account the fact that the maximum quadrature of the room served by the air conditioner is 21 meters, this distance is sufficient.
The IR receiver is located on the front side of the indoor unit near the backlit LCD screen for temperature and operating mode indication. If desired, the backlight is turned off using the remote control.

Electricity consumption corresponds to class A on the energy efficiency scale. The designers managed to achieve low power consumption without the use of an inverter compressor. This reduced the cost of the air conditioner.
Note: The energy consumption indicator fluctuates depending on the number of people in the room, outdoor temperature, thermal insulation efficiency and other parameters.

The split system is able to maintain a comfortable microclimate in the room, regardless of the temperature outside:
- Efficient cooling will help on hot days. The air conditioner is able to lower the air temperature up to 16 degrees.
- In spring or autumn, a heating mode with a maximum temperature of up to 30 degrees is useful.
Instead of manually selecting the temperature, you can activate the auto mode, in which the installation will maintain 22-23 degrees in the room. Experts consider this temperature the most comfortable for a person.
Also, the device has two useful functions:
- Dehumidification. Excess moisture condenses from the air and is discharged to the street through a drainage tube.
- Ventilation. Three fan speeds circulate the air in the room. In the "default" mode, the operating speed is selected automatically.
