- The water that has passed the first stage of purification is supplied to the second tank, where the process of liquid settling and waste decay continues. The second chamber is equipped with an airlift, which directs water to the first tank and is responsible for the circulation of fluid in the septic tank. This is where the biofilm is formed and removed.
- A third reservoir is installed at the outlet, consisting of a pipe and a drain inserted into it, which controls the withdrawal of fluid from the septic tank. A certain amount of content is always present on the device. With its decrease, the effluents are not removed, but circulate in the chambers of the septic tank. Only excess liquid is drained. Treated wastewater is fed into a filtration collector or discharged into the nearest body of water.

- effluents flow by gravity into the receiving chamber - an aeration tank equipped with an aerator. The saturation of the liquid with atmospheric oxygen occurs constantly. Active aeration also promotes mechanical grinding of large inclusions. Portions of liquid enriched with activated sludge from the secondary clarifier also come here. This allows you to activate microbiological cleaning immediately in the receiving chamber. Over time, the wastewater is divided into fractions: the light ones are concentrated in the upper part (gradually changing, they settle over time), the heavy ones enter the primary sedimentation tank (activation tank) through the intermediate bottom,
- microbiological purification processes continue in the second chamber. As conceived by the designer, it should not be a “sump”, but in fact it is (read about the reviews about the Eurobion septic tank below), even though it is equipped with large-bubble bottom agitators. According to the technology, this chamber is a flow chamber in which sediment does not linger (all inclusions are decomposed by microbes to water and carbon dioxide - ideally). The circulation of wastewater is provided by the operation of the airlift,
- in the third chamber, sedimentation processes predominantly take place. The resulting precipitate is partially "destroyed" by microbes. The floating activated sludge is deposited due to the operation of the biofilm remover,
