Design

The body of the robot vacuum cleaner has a matte surface and is made of white plastic. In the upper part of the device there is a cover for the waste container compartment, which has a decorative transparent plastic insert with a silver backing. It is laminated with a plastic film and shaded with a plastic tinted insert. The surface around the perimeter of the device has a mirror-smooth finish. The control panel is also located here, including a touch button and two rows of blue LEDs that report the current status of the iLife V5.

The robot vacuum cleaner has an almost perfectly round shape and compact size. Its lower edges are beveled for better overcoming obstacles. The front end is framed by a spring-loaded soft-touch bumper with a strip of resilient plastic. Also in front are sensors for detecting obstacles, a docking station and a remote control. On the other side of the front there is a power connector and a button to turn off the robot vacuum cleaner.

The bottom of the device contains contact pads, a front support swivel wheel, two side wheels, left and right side brushes, a battery compartment cover, a suction pipe with a rubber skirt, and three infrared height difference sensors.
