It is no secret that salt is an abrasive material, and therefore many believe that it should not be used to remove lime contamination. However, if used in small amounts, it will help restore the cleanliness of the faucet.

5-8 grams of salt are poured onto a napkin and gently rubbed into the dirty coating. The treated area is then rinsed with water.

Baking soda
