"This is a heavy imprint on our lives"
Those who still managed to return home still have a lot to do. This is especially true for residents of end apartments 4 and 6 entrances. It was there that the "corners" were placed, with which the walls of the house were strengthened. Also, in order to carry out strengthening work, in some rooms the builders had to open the floor.
- I am the owner of an apartment in the 6th entrance, but I have been renting other housing for a long time. All my childhood passed in this house, and now my parents live there. Damage compensation for repairs was calculated individually, depending on the repair that was before the explosion. The administration paid us everything and always went to meet us and helped where it could. For which we are very grateful to them, - says Leysan Medya from Izhevsk. “Now our apartment is still being renovated. But this is all a matter of gain, the main thing is the health of our loved ones. After the incident, our dad had a microstroke and has been on sick leave for five months. He has serious heart problems and is mostly lying down. This whole story has left a heavy imprint on our lives.

Elena, a resident of the 4th entrance, will also have to repair the apartment.
- I am glad to return home, I was really looking forward to it. The devastation, of course, is complete, but it does not matter, I will put everything in order, - the girl notes.
This is how Elena's apartment looked like on the day of arrival on March 3
"They said" wait for May "
Worst of all now are the residents of the former 5th entrance of the long-suffering house. Recall that the residents of this section were promised to issue housing certificates before the end of April.
- We lived in the 5th entrance, on the sixth floor. Our apartment was next to the collapsed ones. We lived there for a short time, since we just bought an apartment. On that day, 20 minutes before the explosion, we returned home with a child from kindergarten, sat down to watch cartoons, and suddenly we were thrown up a lot. At first I thought that the closet had fallen from the top of the neighbors, and then I looked out the window, and there was a veil, everything was white! - recalls the townswoman Asya Alekseeva. - My son and I put on jackets, I grabbed some documents and we left the house, although it was scary to leave the apartment, because we didn’t know if there was anything at all outside the door.
For several months now, Asya and her family have been living with her aunt, but she dreams of finally getting her own home.
- We have already written an application for a housing certificate. They said to wait for May, not earlier. We have already looked after a new apartment in the same area, because the child goes to kindergarten there, and in principle I like this area. Everyone wants to go somewhere so that there is a place that can be called home, - notes Asya.
Oleg Vdovin, who also lost his apartment in the explosion, does not yet have his own house. Now a man with his wife and child is renting a house.

- As long as we have everything in the old way. Wrote an application for a housing certificate. Now we are waiting. On Udmurtskaya we had a three-ruble note of 54 square meters. It is a pity that meetings are rarely held with us, no exact deadlines for obtaining certificates are given, and we constantly have to slow down on all issues.
Recall that the state of emergency in the house on Udmurtskaya, 261 occurred on November 9, 2017. In one of the apartments on the 3rd floor, there was an explosion of domestic gas, due to which there was a partial collapse of section 5 of entrance No. 5 of a residential building. 8 apartments were destroyed, 7 people died, including 2 children.
By the way, on March 7, Alexander Kopytov, accused of a gas explosion in house No. 261 on Udmurtskaya, was transferred to a psychiatric hospital for the duration of the preliminary investigation.
