Mounting Tips

The manufacturer pays special attention to the need to read the instructions for installation and use of Atlantic Altis, and also emphasizes that all manipulations for fixing and activation must be carried out with a de-energized device. The heater is intended for installation and operation only in the home.

Use an insulating pad under the mounting bracket to ensure correct operation of the control unit and temperature sensor. These additional measures are necessary when the wall on which the equipment is installed is finished with facing material.

It is forbidden to install the convector in the following places.

1. Outdoors with active air circulation. Drafts can interfere with the function of the temperature sensor, resulting in malfunctions.
2. In the immediate vicinity of the ventilation opening with a forced ventilation system.
3. Below or above a wall-mounted outlet.
4. In rooms with high humidity.
5. The design does not provide for use at an altitude exceeding a thousand meters above sea level.Such conditions create the possibility of malfunctions of the temperature sensor and excessive heating of the air stream by ten degrees.
6. The manufacturer strongly discourages mounting horizontal convectors in a vertical configuration and vice versa. It is also forbidden to block the blinds with foreign objects or walls. The design of the device implies a certain location in space (wall, floor models) and a strong fixation on the wall.
7. The convector is not designed to be installed on the floor or used in a portable position.

Carefully handle the Atlantic convector during operation and follow the instructions. De-energize the device during ventilation, avoid high humidity. Do not try to speed up the warm-up by constantly activating the maximum temperature, use the economy mode and anti-icing wisely.

But, it is not possible to buy a Nobo convector on the territory of Ukraine, so we decided to talk about an alternative - this is Atlantic. 6. A unique heating element has been installed, which has a high efficiency and does not dry the air much.
7. The case does not heat up more than 90% degrees. This is a high temperature, but you will not get burned. However, the child should be kept away from him, because such a temperature is dangerous.
8. The warranty for the convector is two years. But, at the time of its purchase, check that all documents are filled out in the store. Otherwise, we can't talk about free repairs.

Operating tips

Set the heating control toggle switch to the MAX position. If the air temperature in the room drops below the maximum level marked on the scale of the device, a sensor will work, activating the operation of the heating element. The electronic thermostat in some units will give a V1 signal.If the temperature does not cross the mark, no heating takes place.

After starting the heater, wait for the room to warm up to an acceptable temperature and fix it as the maximum. To do this, smoothly move the thermostat toggle switch to its original position. In models of the past generation, you will hear a quiet click, on modern devices, the V1 signal will simply turn off. Wait until the temperature stabilizes - this happens within two to three hours. If the obtained conditions suit you, fix the toggle switch in this position. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated to set a new maximum mark.

Activation of anti-icing

This mode provides maintenance of seven-degree temperature. As a rule, this function is used in rooms that are not visited for a long time. The program allows you to save energy and quickly warm the room in case of return. To activate, place the corresponding wheel on the snowflake pentagram, and also switch the slider to the anti-icing mode.

Control panel lock

Like most household appliances, the Atlantic Altis convector is equipped with a blocking mode. This function prevents tampering with the unit's settings, and protects against unforeseen interference.

To activate the lock:

1. Dismantle the convector from the bracket and release the pins marked P, most often they are located on the bottom panel of the device.
2. Switch one of the pins to position B. This action blocks the thermostat switch.
3. Setting the pin to position L allows you to limit the movement of the thermostat toggle switch. For advanced models with electronic control, move the pin to hole n.

Economy mode

This function is provided only in heaters with an electronic thermostat. Programming the device provides the ability to maintain the desired temperature during the absence of people. To activate, move the slider to the crescent pentagram. The device will automatically switch to economy mode and maintain the temperature three to four degrees below the thermostat setting.

Programmable mode

This mode is also available exclusively for advanced electronically controlled convectors. Devices of this type are equipped with a special wire and remote control. To activate, move the slider to the clock pentagram. In this position, the device recognizes commands - "comfort mode", "economy", "anti-icing", "complete shutdown". If any of the listed programs is not set from the remote control, the device switches to the optimum temperature. Transition time up to twelve seconds.
