Eva convectors
Floor convectors Eva ("Eva") is produced by the Moscow company "Vilma" - a joint Russian-Swedish venture. Models are available with and without built-in fans. Warranty period - 10 years, service life - 30 years. Can be used in air conditioning systems. Grille comes as standard. Which one - depends on the model - either aluminum or stainless steel, they can make a wooden one on order.
Built-in convectors Eva with natural circulation
Models without fans are used in small rooms or as auxiliary heating. There are models designed for heating dry premises (residential or non-residential): Eva COIL-K, KT, KTT 80. These are models of low power, they differ in size: some are narrower, but deeper, some, on the contrary, have a shallow depth, but wider. Model KT-80 has a shallow depth: together with a box of 88mm.
Dry room model Eva COIL-K
If you need more heat, pay attention to KG 80. This model has slightly increased dimensions - 100 mm deep, but much higher power
It is usually installed in cottages, offices and industrial premises of large cubic capacity. EVA COIL-KG200 are even more productive. Their performance is comparable to devices using forced convection. A copper-aluminum heat exchanger is installed here, due to which more heat is transferred.
Specially designed for difficult conditions - with high humidity - the Eva-KO and KO-H models. Their bottom of the case has longitudinal gutters for collecting and draining condensate, the case itself is made of stainless steel.
There are special models for wet rooms
EVA-COIL-KE is compatible with supply and exhaust ventilation. The special design ensures high air movement and efficient heat distribution throughout the room.
KZ1 is installed especially for heating the glazing of large areas - it creates an effective thermal curtain. At the same time, it has a small power, it can be used as an additional source of heat.
Models with fan
Installing a fan allows you to increase the heat output without changing the dimensions. But this option is not suitable for everyone.Firstly, the fan is noisy, which is a serious minus for bedrooms. There are, of course, low-noise models, but some sound is still present. Secondly, such devices cannot be installed in car dealerships - there is the possibility of a spark.
In all the rest, it is more rational to install a heater with airflow - heat spreads faster, built-in convectors work more efficiently. One caveat: a thermostat and a transformer are required for operation. They are not included in the basic package, they are ordered separately.
EVA COIL-KBO and KBO-H are models equipped with a tangential fan for heating wet rooms. Heat exchangers - copper-aluminum, stainless steel condensate drain. Non-standard sizes, angular or radial execution can be made to order.
For dry rooms use COIL-KB, KB80, KX, KU, KB60, KGB. They are equipped with 12 V tangential fans operating at three speeds. Accordingly, different thermal power is provided depending on the weather. The heat exchanger for all is copper-aluminum, the body is made of stainless steel. Dimensions differ - different heights and widths, there are options for different thermal power, for different types of use (main or additional heat source, different degrees of insulation).
To increase the power put tangential fans
Heating equipment Minib built into the floor
Built-in floor convectors Minib differ in the principle of operation used. The consumer is offered equipment with forced and natural convection of air flows.
- Minib convectors built into the floor without a fan are represented by the P, PMW, PO and PT series. All models feature fast ramp-up times and a wide performance range from 247 to 657 W per rm. Equipped with a protective grille. Models of the RO series are designed for installation in wet areas: swimming pools, saunas, etc. The PMW series is used for heating industrial and commercial premises. Convectors without a fan are non-volatile and continue to heat the premises in the event of a power outage.
The floor convector Minib with a fan has a high performance. Due to forced convection, the power of the heaters reaches 2.2 kW per 1 running meter. The line is represented by models HC, NCM, KO, KR, KT, etc. The heat output of the Minib floor convector directly depends on the operation of the fan. In the KR model, a decorative panel is used instead of floor grilles covering the convector. The equipment is suitable for connection to single-circuit and double-circuit systems.

The operation of the convector with a tangential fan is controlled by the control panel. For safe operation, a voltage of 12 V is used. The power calculation is based on the total heated area and is approximately 100 W for every 1 m².
The working pressure of the coolant in built-in and floor models is 10 atm, the maximum allowable is 16 atm.

Floor convectors Minib
The Czech company Minib (Minib) specializes only in the production of convectors. They are produced by more than 70 different models, some of which are built into the floor.
without fans
In the absence of forced ventilation, the movement of air and its movement occurs due to the physical properties of the air: the heated one rises, the cold “flows” into its place. But often the capacity of such devices for use as the main heating is not enough. Therefore, they are paired with a radiator system or in addition to underfloor heating. Minib has many models with different dimensions and capacities:
- P and P80 are basic models with small dimensions and medium power.
- PMW is a line with more power, there are different mounting heights: 90 mm, 125 mm, 125 mm, 165 mm.
- PO and PO4 are designed for installation in wet rooms. PO4 with the same dimensions are more powerful (double heat exchanger).
- PT - models with a standard width of 303 mm and different mounting heights: 80 mm, 105 mm, 125 mm, 180 mm, 300 mm.
-
PT4 are the most powerful Minib convectors with natural convection.
With fans
There are even more types of convectors built into the floor with forced convection. They work without turning on the blower, they just give out less power in this mode.
As noted, at maximum speed, any, even the best fan, makes significant noise. Minib tested their coolers. It turned out that when properly installed at maximum speed, they create a sound stream almost two times less than a home computer.

Minib convectors - excellent quality, average prices
For a lower noise level, it is recommended that when choosing a model and dimensions, focus on power at speeds 1 and 2, and not at maximum. Then switching on to the maximum speed will be a single case, and the level of noise produced will be low.
Here is a list of models and their very brief characteristics:
- KO and KO2 are designed for heating wet rooms, 12 V fans. KO2 has large dimensions (in width) and high power.
- KT, KT0, KT1, KT2, KT110, KT3, KT3 105 are basic built-in convectors for heating dry rooms. There are different sizes and capacities, you can choose for any conditions. Modification KT2 has an inlet for fresh air, once on the heat exchanger it heats up and then is supplied to the room.
- HC and HC4 are suitable for installation in wet areas. The fans can be installed with DC or AC power. HC4 has more power and can be used as the main heat source. Both modifications work for both heating and cooling, but HC is a single-circuit connection, while HC4 has a double-circuit connection.
- HCM and HCM4p have a high heat output and are installed in dry rooms. The fans are used for 12 V. They work for both heating and cooling, HCM - single-circuit connection, HCM4p - double-circuit.
- MO is a powerful floor convector for rooms with a damp environment, 12 V fan.
- TO85 is designed for wet rooms, has a low mounting height - 85 mm.
- KT/MT is a floor convector for dry rooms with increased heat output.
- T50, T60, T80 have a very small height (50mm, 60mm and 80mm respectively), but also little power.
- SK is a universal model that can be built into furniture, stairs, skirting boards, etc.
The range is more than solid, there are plenty to choose from. The build quality is decent. There are different types of control devices - automatic (software) fan speed control or manual control. They are purchased separately.
Special convectors

Model COIL-DS - heats the room using infrared radiation and convection.
Minib produces not only conventional convectors, but also special-purpose convectors. Here are the line descriptions:
- COIL-DS - unique heating devices with a dual principle of operation (convection and infrared radiation);
- COIL-TE – Minib electric convectors with forced convection;
- COIL-SK - a series for lobbies and kitchens, for embedding under furniture;
- COIL-LP - bench with built-in convector and granite seat;
- COIL-KP - an interesting series for installation directly under window sills;
- COIL-DP are unusual Minib convectors with wooden casings.
It is likely that the latest models are positioned as designer ones, as they have reduced performance.
Non-standard and design solutions for heating
Ventilated underfloor water convectors of the Czech company Minib are also made in arched and corner versions. Products are made exclusively to order. It is recommended that calculations and measurements be performed by a representative of the company.
Minib floor convectors are widely used to create a thermal barrier. In this case, the ability to make heaters of almost any shape is extremely important. Rising hot air reduces heat loss and prevents drafts, creating a cozy and warm microclimate.
Some modern buildings have curved walls. Designers come up with new solutions for apartments, offices and retail spaces. Installation of non-standard floor convectors with a fan or floor corner structures significantly expands the possibilities of space heating.

Why people buy Minib products
To date, Minib's products have practically no competition. This is due to the technical characteristics of the equipment, the unpretentious operation of the systems and the large model range of the manufacturer.Judging by the feedback from consumers, the company's heaters have several other positive qualities.
Appearance
The Minib company was able to move away from the traditional design of convectors. Models are in demand, in which, instead of a convection grate, a panel of natural stone or decorative glass with patterns is used.
Ease of installation
Technological instructions for installation are reduced to a minimum, floor and wall models are easily and quickly mounted, the only difficulty is connecting to a heat source.
Versatility
It is possible to choose the method of installation of built-in Minib convectors, fully corresponding to the technical characteristics of the building. To save space, you can place the equipment on the floor, or hide it under the windowsill.
Good thermal performance
Heaters have a high heat transfer, almost instantly reach the operating power. In the summer, convectors with forced ventilation are used for additional air conditioning.
Floor and wall models

Model COIL-SK PTG with thermoelectric generator for fan.
Convectors Minib floor and wall-mounted are available in two modifications - with fans and without fans. Models with fans provide the creation of artificial convection, which is necessary for faster warming up of the premises. As we know, natural convection heats up quite slowly, but the manufacturer managed to speed up this process with ease.
Minib floor and wall convectors with fans are subdivided into two more categories. The first requires a supply voltage, and the second is equipped with thermoelectric generators - they start working when heat is supplied and do not require an external power source. To adjust the intensity of heating, a thermostatic head is implemented on board. These models are represented by the COIL-SK PTG and COIL-NK PTG series.
Other fan models are represented by the COIL-NK1 and COIL-NK2 series, designed for installation under windows, as well as the COIL-SK1 and COIL-SK2 ranges, which can be mounted anywhere, even on blank walls. Minib convectors with artificial convection can also work both on solid walls and under window sills.
Please note that the COIL-SK1 and COIL-SK2 ranges are designed for heating dry rooms and should not be installed in bathrooms or other wet rooms.
Minib fanless convectors are represented by 13 lines. There are modifications with increased performance, convectors for dry and wet rooms, as well as devices exclusively for dry rooms. The width of the equipment varies from 116 to 232 mm.
The most popular Minib convectors include the COIL-SP0 and COIL-SP1/4 models for rooms of any purpose. Their width is 156 mm.
Floor recessed
Minib floor convectors are represented by a huge range of various models. Since it is difficult to describe all this diversity within the framework of one review, we will give a list of individual modifications. The following samples are on sale:

Floor convectors are great for installation in front of panoramic windows.

Convectors in wall and floor versions
Floor and wall models are most often used as the main heating system for residential premises, small offices. Possible industrial application.
- Floor convectors Minib - models are distinguished by high performance and increased heat transfer, due to the optimal location of the heating core from the floor level. The design ensures accelerated air convection, even when the fan is turned off. The grille for the convector is made in the same shade as the body, in traditional gray. The DP model, made with imitation wood, stands out favorably, as well as the LP, with a tabletop on top of the body that serves as a bench. Maximum performance 1547 W / m.p.
Minib wall convectors combine the use of convection heating and thermal radiation from a stone or glass front panel. To reduce heating costs, several models can be connected to an electronic control unit. Adjustment of the intensity of heating is carried out by turning the fans on and off, as well as changing the rotation speed.
Minib convectors are controlled by mechanical and programmable thermostats manufactured by the company. The control unit allows not only to automate the operation of heaters, but also reduces costs by 15-20%.

Floor convectors.
On our website you will find a large selection of floor convectors. The price of such heaters is within the range available to most buyers.
This type of heating equipment differs from other types in that it is mounted directly inside the floor. Our catalog contains two types of floor convectors, which differ from each other in the method of creating a thermal curtain:
Convectors operating on the principle of natural convection (without fan)
· Convectors working on the principle of forced convection have a built-in fan. These convectors have more powerful heat transfer characteristics.
The prices for convectors presented on our website are formed depending on several characteristics, the manufacturer of the convector, technical characteristics, as well as the dimensions of the convectors.
Convectors that do not have a fan are most often used indoors as an additional source of heat. Convectors that work on the principle of forced convection are more powerful, so they can be used indoors as the main heating equipment.
Design features of floor-mounted convectors.
The convector consists of a box in which the heating element is located, on top of this box there is a decorative grill that protects the interior of the equipment from unwanted effects on them, and also hides them from view. Most often, such heating devices are located near large panoramic windows or in doorways.
It should be noted that the creation of heating built into the floor is best to start from the moment the room is designed. This will help in the future to avoid unnecessary inconvenience at the time of installation of heating.
Advantages of using convectors built into the floor.
This type of equipment has several advantages compared to its counterparts:
- Space saving. Since the convector is mounted directly into the floor, and the decorative grille is on the same level with the floor covering, this saves a lot of working space.
- This heating device has a low cost.
- Also, this device has an attractive appearance.

How to care for Minib convectors
Technical characteristics of the equipment provide easy installation and trouble-free operation of the device in the future. To increase the service life of the convector, the following recommendations must be followed:
- Installation work. Fixing legs must be attached to the floor with dowels to avoid resonating. Embedded models must be grouted to at least ⅓ of the body height. Optimally, completely place the case on the floor.
Wiring. The wiring diagram for a floor-mounted convector is given in the operating instructions.A different transformer is used for wet and dry rooms! A converter designed for dry rooms cannot be installed in a bathroom, swimming pools, etc. The wiring diagram provides for the use of temperature sensors. The connection of the room thermostat and the output to the machines are described in detail. The work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
First start. Air vents in the convector body operate in automatic mode or have a mechanical principle of operation. After filling the radiators with water, be sure to vent the system. After that, the fans turn on.
Maintenance is carried out at least 2 times during the heating season. Be sure to turn off the power supply to the fans. The water supply is turned off. The convection grate is removed. If the model of the LP series is being serviced (a Minib convector built into the window sill or made in the form of a bench), then the tabletop laid on top of the body is removed. The heater rises at an angle of 60°С, the space under it is cleared of dust and dirt. Fan axles are lubricated.
