Conditions for the effectiveness of the use of bacteria
When filling sewers with biobacteria for cesspools, you need to understand that we are dealing with living organisms.It is not necessary to talk with them, but it is necessary to create favorable conditions for good work.
Therefore, it is important to select the material corresponding to the actual conditions prevailing in the cesspool or septic tank. To do this, you need to follow certain rules:
- In the drive, which is processed by biological substances, there must be a sufficiently high-calorie environment for them. It makes no sense to launch biobacteria into a clean environment, since there is no food for them in it. There should be at least a small amount of sewage with solid sediment in the septic tank or cesspool chamber.
- Pits or septic tanks must be used regularly so that there is a constant replenishment of the contents, otherwise the living bacteria will starve, weaken and may die.
- Dishwashing liquids and toilet cleaners must be chlorine-free, since most living things cannot withstand exposure to it and die. It is not harmless to humans either. If you wish, you can safely neutralize your drains by using a chlorine cartridge, installing it just before the discharge of purified water onto the ground or into a reservoir.
- In the same way, live bacteria for sewers behave in the presence of antibiotics, which destroy the bacterial environment.
- Biobacteria for a septic tank must be prepared for use before use. It is not enough just to put the powder or toss the tablets into the toilet bowl. The contents of the package must first be mixed in the prepared liquid. Water is poured into clean dishes and left to stand for at least a day to remove excess chemicals that may be present in it.To effectively start the biomass, you need to dilute half a liter of kefir in this mixture and let it brew for several hours. After such preparation, refueling will begin to work quickly and efficiently. After making a dose of the drug, it is desirable that the dry closet is not used for 3-4 hours, so this operation is best performed in the late evening or in the morning before leaving for work.
- The active composition should break down organic matter into elemental components: carbon dioxide, water and solid sediment. Different compositions are often used to treat a cesspool and a septic tank. For example, for outdoor booths, dry products or in the form of tablets are more often used, indicating on the packages that they can be used under these conditions.

The principle of operation of bacteriological cleaning: bacteria for a septic tank
Bacteria are microorganisms that act as a catalyst for the degradation of organic matter contained in wastewater. These organisms break down sewage pollution into the simplest substances - carbon dioxide, nitrogen and minerals.
Bacteria for septic tanks are used to accelerate the natural processes of decay. Unlike bleach, which was previously widely used to disinfect sewage pits, microorganisms not only remove the characteristic odor, but also perform the following functions:
- Divide wastewater into solid and liquid components;
- Reduce the amount of suspended solids;
- Recycle waste into an environmentally friendly mass to be used as fertilizer.
Bacteria for a septic tank are a multifunctional biologically active substance, they are used both in the chemical, medical and pharmaceutical industries to increase the efficiency of treatment facilities, and in everyday life, to clean the simplest sewage pits and sewers. Microorganisms are also in demand in the agricultural sector - they are added to compost pits in order to accelerate the process of decay, which reduces the time for obtaining organic fertilizers.
Classification of the main cleaning methods by living organisms: aerobic, anaerobic
The main methods of wastewater treatment, according to the type of microorganisms used, are classified into two types:
Scheme and principle of operation of a septic tank
Cons of using anaerobic treatment in a private house
Anaerobic wastewater treatment has the following disadvantages:
- Low efficiency of removal of phosphorus and nitrogen minerals from wastewater (60-65% of the initial amount), which does not allow the use of treated solid sludge as fertilizers;
- Ineffective in terms of reducing the volume of solids - you will need to regularly call a vacuum truck to pump out the cesspool.
Anaerobic bacteria are the first stage of biological wastewater treatment - they are used in a complex, together with aerobic organisms. For the life of the latter, a permanent supply of oxygen to the septic tank is necessary, which is ensured by connecting an aerator forcing air to it (in industrial conditions) or adding a special activator.
Aerobic wastewater treatment is not accompanied by the production of methane and its characteristic unpleasant odor, since organic matter is broken down into carbon dioxide (the reaction occurs with the release of heat).Aerobic organisms provide effective cleaning (waste can be used as fertilizer) and a reduction in the volume of solid sludge, which reduces the required frequency of septic tank pumping. Bacteria for a septic tank can be completely different, the main thing is to have an effect.
Microbes for a septic tank develop and function under certain environmental conditions, which must be taken into account when using biologically active agents:
- The temperature range is from +5 to +50 degrees (cleaning a septic tank is less effective at low temperatures, bacteria do not die in the cold, but become passive);
- The presence of a liquid medium is mandatory (before use, the drug is diluted in water and in this form is added to the cesspool);
- Microorganisms die on contact with chemically aggressive substances containing chlorine;
- Bacteria die in the absence of "nutrition" - if the septic tank does not work regularly, you will need to add microbes after each downtime.
The class of complex preparations for biological wastewater treatment, which include anaerobic and aerobic bacteria, is called bioactivators. In addition to microorganisms, they contain special enzymes that accelerate the breakdown of oxygen molecules, which is necessary to maintain the vital activity of aerobic microbes.
Classification of the best bioactivators for septic tanks made of concrete rings
Bioactivators according to their functional purpose are classified into the following groups:
- Starting - for septic tanks that have not previously been cleaned biologically, or for adding after a long downtime;
- Reinforced - for septic tanks with an increased level of pollution (they are used for a limited time, after which they change to standard preparations);
- Highly specialized - used in industry, where wastewater has a special composition (increased amount of fat molecules, soap sediments and chemical elements).

Differences in bacterial strains by type of application in septic tanks
Aerobic bacteria are also distinguished according to the type of application in the sewer system:
- able to successfully reproduce even in adverse conditions, they are needed for the initial settlement of country septic tanks;
- artificially bred colonies of bacteria that can increase the already existing number, they can be successfully “attached” to any commercially produced strains of microorganisms of this type (if the compatibility condition is not met, the septic tank will stop working over time);
- bacteria that can multiply rapidly and restore the number of aerobes after exposure to the septic environment of alkaline or acidic liquids (which sometimes enter the septic tank during cleaning with detergents and cleaners).
Before inoculating additional aerobic bacteria into the septic tank, it is necessary to carry out maintenance of the device and laboratory determine which type of microorganisms is required at the moment.
The very principle of deep wastewater treatment is the joint use of different types of wastewater treatment. In the sewer tank, just add a strain of bacteria and install a jet pump to supply oxygen, then the level of wastewater treatment will be low, so it is necessary to clean the septic tanks in several stages.
First of all, effluents are subjected to mechanical cleaning and crushing of garbage into smaller fractions.After that, water is fed through pipes into a chamber with aerobic bacteria that form activated sludge.
Types of bacteria, their pros and cons
To date, there are 3 types of bacteria for septic tanks and cesspools on the market: anaerobic and aerobic bacteria, as well as bioactivators. Their main difference is in the conditions of operation and in the method of processing wastewater. A combined septic tank cleaning option is also possible. First, it is treated with anaerobic, and then additionally with aerobic bacteria.
Let us consider in more detail each of the types of bacteria and find out what advantages and disadvantages they have.
anaerobic bacteria
A characteristic feature of this type of bacteria is that they do not need the presence of air in order to live and multiply. It is for this reason that it is better not to use them for open cesspools. The best option for the use of anaerobic microorganisms in closed septic tanks, in which the full cycle of supply - processing - removal of liquid effluents is carried out.
During the recycling process, organic waste turns into solid residues that settle to the bottom, and a liquid that can be used to water the garden. After some time, when a considerable amount of solid precipitation has accumulated, they are pumped out using a special sewage machine.
All anaerobic bacteria, regardless of the brand, have common negative qualities:
- Over time, when the number of bacteria increases greatly, methane is most likely to be produced - a gas that has a very bad smell.
- They are unable to clean the drains completely. The maximum that they are capable of is 65%. 35% are not recycled at all.
- The primary section of the septic tank, in which solid residues settle, must be constantly cleaned.
- The sludge must be disposed of.
Aerobic bacteria
They cannot function fully without oxygen. This variant of bacteria is best suited for an open-type cesspool. For bacteria to process waste in the sewer system, special conditions must be created. A compressor is needed to supply oxygen to the septic tank chamber in which microorganisms function.
During the processing of wastewater by bacteria, carbon dioxide is separated, which provokes a temperature rise in the septic tank chamber by 3-5 degrees. Although it is warm in the tank, there is no unpleasant smell. And besides, aerobic bacteria are able to process feces completely, 100%. The sediment that remains as a result of processing is also pumped out, but it can be used as a fertilizer. It is completely safe, so there is no need to wait for it to overheat. Most often, gardeners place it in compost pits, combine it with straw, grass, manure, and only then do I fertilize the soil in my garden.
Main characteristics of aerobic bacteria:
- High level of wastewater treatment, at which there is no need for additional treatment or processing.
- The solid sediment can be used as a fertilizer for the soil in the garden or in the garden, it is represented by silt, which is clean for the environment.
- The amount of sediment is very small.
- There is no stench, no methane is emitted during the processing of wastewater.
- Since sludge forms at a slow rate, there is no need to empty the septic tank frequently.
Bioactivators
This type of septic tank and cesspool cleaner is a combination of bacteria and enzymes. Bioactivators are used if you need to achieve a specific goal. They are divided into:
- Universal. Suitable for all septic tanks and cesspools.
- Specialized. Built for the right purpose.
Their main task is not the processing of faeces on an ongoing basis, but the periodic renewal of existing bacteria, the elimination of tank contamination, cleaning of pathological organisms, and the like.
In essence, bioactivators are orderlies that are used to restore the efficient functioning of bacterial colonies.
The following types of bioactivators can be distinguished:
- Starting. They are used in order to restore the bacterial composition after the winter period or if the sewer has not been used for a long time.
- Reinforced. Their task is to clean overly polluted pits. The launch of such bioactivators is possible for up to 3 weeks. After that, anaerobic or aerobic bacteria are used.
- Specialized. Used to clean the septic tank from solid waste and inorganics. They are very tenacious and able to recycle toilet paper, fabric, cardboard, even detergents are not able to kill them.
What is the current method of treating domestic wastewater?
Any type of domestic wastewater treatment operates on the principle of the natural process of decomposition of organic substances, which are affected by various bacteria, into simple ones - water, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, nitrites and others. The bacteria that are used for septic tanks are organic - this is a “dry pomace”, which includes exclusively natural ingredients.
With an artificial increase in the concentration of active microorganisms, which are additionally introduced into the septic tank, the degree and speed of purification of domestic wastewater are adjusted. At the same time, thanks to the action of bacteria, chemical processes proceed without the release of an unpleasant odor.
There are additional factors that can significantly change the activity of microorganisms in domestic wastewater. Bacterial activity can be increased by:
- presence of organic matter.
- Creating an optimal temperature regime - +4 to +60 ° С.
- Access to the oxygen plant.
- Changes in the acidity of wastewater.
- Absence of toxic substances.
Preparations that act due to the presence of natural bacteria in them are capable of:
- Remove grease deposits from the inner surface of the septic tank.
- Liquefy the sediment that accumulates at the bottom of the septic tank.
- Remove various debris.
- Eliminate unpleasant odors.
- Make purified water harmless for watering plants.
- Do not pollute or harm ground and underground waters.
There are two types of active bacteria that are used to treat domestic wastewater in septic tanks:
- Aerobic;
- Anaerobic.
To understand the principles of action of these microorganisms, it is necessary to know their features and principles of action.
How to choose bacteria for a septic tank
Types of biological products. Currently, household product manufacturers use three types of bacteria.
- Anaerobic Microorganisms live and reproduce without the use of atmospheric oxygen. Such biological products work perfectly in closed containers, where they successfully develop and feed. Organics in a septic tank are processed by bacteria to the smallest solid particles.They sink to the bottom, where they accumulate, and then are removed using a sewage truck. The settled water can be used for watering the garden.
- Aerobic Microorganisms actively absorb oxygen from the air in the process of life. Preparations based on them are intended for cleaning cesspools and open chambers of septic tanks. It is also possible to add a biocomposition to closed tanks, but it is additionally necessary to create an air inflow using a deep-seated compressor. Organic waste is converted into carbon dioxide, the temperature rises slightly, and the resulting sediment can be used for composting.
- Bioactivators. To obtain the maximum effect of biomass processing, manufacturers add several types of bacteria and enzymes to one composition. Bioactivators are versatile, although there are also narrowly focused series among them. For example, certain strains of bacteria are selected to fight fatty deposits in the pipes. Soap residue is better processed by other microorganisms. Therefore, when buying bioactivators, you should find out about the specialization of the product.
Conditions for efficient operation of bacteria. In order for a colony of microorganisms in a septic tank to work fruitfully and multiply, it is necessary to create favorable conditions for bacteria.
- A nutrient medium must be constantly supplied to the collector, and the household cleaning products used for cleaning toilet bowls or bathtubs do not contain chlorine-containing compounds. It is also not allowed to drain antibiotics into the sewer.
- The vital activity of microorganisms also depends on the temperature of the biomass.The lower the temperature, the slower the decomposition of organic matter. Many strains fall asleep at temperatures below +5°C.
- To speed up the waste recycling process, you should perform the simplest preparatory measures. To begin with, the biological product is dissolved in clean, settled water (without chlorine). As a top dressing, you can use kefir, which will awaken microorganisms. It is enough to wait a few hours, and the finished solution can be poured into the septic tank.
We have selected in review of the top 10 manufacturers bacteria. All of them sell their products on the Russian market. Compiling the rating, the opinions of experts and consumer reviews were taken into account.
What it is
Anaerobes are always present in the normal microflora, mucous membranes of the body, in the gastrointestinal tract and genitourinary system. They are classified as conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, since they are natural inhabitants of the biotopes of a living organism.
With a decrease in immunity or the influence of negative factors, bacteria begin to actively multiply uncontrollably, and microorganisms turn into pathogens and become sources of infection. Their waste products are dangerous, toxic and rather aggressive substances. They are able to easily penetrate cells or other organs of the body and infect them.
In the body, some enzymes (for example, hyaluronidase or heparinase) increase the pathogenicity of anaerobes, as a result, the latter begin to destroy muscle and connective tissue fibers, which leads to microcirculation disorders. Vessels become fragile, erythrocytes are destroyed. All this provokes the development of immunopathological inflammation of blood vessels - arteries, veins, capillaries and microthrombosis.
The danger of the disease is associated with a large percentage of deaths, so it is extremely important to notice the onset of the infection in time and immediately begin its treatment.
TOP 5 popular products to consider when choosing
There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a wastewater treatment agent:
- the concentration of the composition, some funds must be applied regularly;
- the dependence of the amount of the drug on the volume of the septic tank, the data is always indicated on its packaging;
- the type of bacteria that make up the product, because they must decompose not only feces, but also cellulose and organic fibers;
When choosing bacterial materials for a septic tank or pit, you need to look not so much at the cost as at the real conditions for their use.
When purchasing biological products, you should pay attention to the following samples:
- A powerful mixture of bacteria from "Doctor Robik" dissolves not only feces, but also cellulose and other organic matter. The average validity of one bookmark Dr. Robik is about a month. The resulting product can be used as compost. Has positive reviews.

- Atmosbio is a French preparation for use in septic tanks and cesspools. A distinctive feature is the ability to process chlorine. The release form is a box with 24 sachets.
- Universal preparation BioSept for processing all types of organic waste.
- Roetech.
- Himola.
The prices of all products are quite democratic. To buy a suitable bioactivator, you need to focus on the rating and the ability to completely and safely eliminate feces. The performance efficiency of different types of bacteria in a cesspool can only be assessed by the results of their final work.
How to make bacteria for a septic tank and a cesspool with your own hands
The constant use of a local treatment plant is associated with the need for periodic cleaning of the septic tank from activated sludge
Let's pay attention to this substance - it is a sediment of insoluble components of fecal and domestic wastewater with the same cultural bacteria that process wastewater
At industrial wastewater treatment plants, when cleaning tanks, part of the activated sludge is used to restore bacterial colonies in metatanks. Nothing prevents you from doing the same when operating VOCs, producing bacteria for the septic tank with your own hands.
As for creating your own culture of bacteria for septic tanks and cesspools, this task is only possible for large specialized organizations. The process takes place using complex chemical reactions, which are almost impossible to reproduce at home.
Harvesting live cultures for the future does not make any sense, since they are always available in the active sludge of the existing VOC, and any of its owners will gladly share a few buckets of this useful product.

You can use another option. We take a container, pour water, create a favorable habitat for bacteria and launch them there. That is, we create the necessary reserve for the future. The main thing is not to forget to feed them and monitor the temperature so that it is in an acceptable range.
When the need for bacteria arises, we leave a third or a quarter of the container, and use the rest for its intended purpose. The remaining colony is added with water and nutrients.
Thus, you can repeat this procedure as much as you like, and thus there is no need to purchase new biobacteria, since we have our own colony.
It should be noted that the production of bacterial compounds in Russia without a permit is strictly prohibited, since this is a threat to national security.
Advantages and disadvantages of the use of microorganisms
The main advantages of using biobacteria:
- eliminate impurities;
- remove sewer stink;
- disinfect the cleaning facility;
- convert solid waste into a liquid state.
At the same time, the work of biobacteria does not lead to the destruction or corrosion of the walls of the cleaning device. They do not harm the life and health of people and animals. The clarified liquid and sedimentary mass is used as top dressing for horticultural crops. Regular use of biological preparations reduces the frequency of sewage cleaning.
There are no significant drawbacks in preparations with microorganisms. The main thing is to correctly carry out the cleaning process. It must be remembered that bacteria are living beings and require suitable living conditions.
- Temperature from 4 to 30 degrees Celsius. When lowering, microorganisms fall asleep, but as soon as the mercury column goes up, they become active. It is necessary to take into account the temperature inside the pit, since it is several degrees higher. If the street is more than zero, then the drug can be used. But in winter, bacteria do not work in an unheated toilet and can even die.
- Abundant nutrient medium. A small amount of "food" will lead to the death of the colony. With infrequent use of the treatment plant, for example, in the country, you need to add a portion of the drug.With summer use, a new colony of bacteria will need to be created every year.
- Humidity. For the normal development of the colony, it is necessary that the liquid in the tank rises at least three centimeters above the solid layer. If there is a shortage, water is added.
If all requirements are met, the microorganisms begin cleaning activity immediately after being introduced into the nutrient medium.
What is an anaerobic septic tank and how does it work?
An anaerobic septic tank is a sealed container in which the microbiological decomposition of organic inclusions contained in drains mainly takes place, without access to atmospheric oxygen. Those. in the septic tank, conditions are created for the reproduction of anaerobes - a number of microbes, the result of which is ammonia, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, methane (gases) and other water-soluble substances. The main role assigned to anaerobes is to ensure the decomposition of complex components into simpler ones. With a lack of microbes, their number is artificially increased by introducing special preparations for septic tanks into the sewer.
Structurally, a single-chamber septic tank is distinguished, as well as installations consisting of several sections. The most popular models consist of two chambers: in the first, the main part of the suspended matter is settled, and in the second, the effluents are additionally clarified and "processed" by anaerobes. Their waste products are removed through the ventilation system of the septic tank.
During biological treatment, the temperature of the effluents rises, which allows microbes to feel great even in the cold season. Anaerobic treatment plant - non-volatile septic tank, i.e.all processes proceed naturally: effluents pass sequentially through all chambers without the help of pumping equipment. One "but": such a sewage system requires a soil treatment device.
Possible designs
Autonomous volatile structures

In autonomous energy-dependent structures, in order to maintain the activity of microflora, a constant air supply must be provided by installed compressors.
In autonomous energy-dependent structures, wastewater is decomposed due to the vital activity of aerobic bacteria purchased in specialized stores.
To maintain the activity of microflora, a constant air supply must be ensured by installed compressors. As a result, pollution decomposes into 3 components: insoluble sediments, clear liquid and biogases leaving through ventilation.
Advantages:
- speed of processing;
- high degree of purification - 98%;
- simple operation.
Minuses:
- constructive complexity;
- high cost;
- operating costs for electricity.
Anaerobic structures
They purify wastewater with the existing microflora, which does not need oxygen.
Advantages:
- energy independence;
- the simplicity of the device.
Minuses:
- low degree of purification;
- longer cycle time.

Septic tanks with soil filtration of two or three sections are distinguished by their simplicity of design, autonomy, and relatively low cost.
storage structures
The similarity of cesspools, from where the removal of effluents is carried out by a sewage machine. But such a device has a bottom and walls that are carefully waterproofed and do not allow contaminants to enter the soil.
Advantages:
- affordable price;
- simple design;
- no operating costs.
Minuses:
- lack of a cleaning procedure;
- the possibility of an unpleasant odor;
- frequent expenses for the services of special vehicles.
Designs with mechanical cleaning principles - sedimentation and filtration. To increase the efficiency of their work, several sequential cameras are equipped. The purity of the outgoing waters, the drainage of which is carried out into the ground, will depend on their quantity.

To increase the efficiency of storage septic tanks, several sequential chambers are equipped
Installation of the structure

Do-it-yourself installation of a treatment plant is performed in the following sequence:
- They start with earthworks and dig a trench for laying a supply pipe. The pipeline must be laid below the freezing mark of the soil.
- The bottom of the trench is covered with sand and compacted. In this case, do not forget about observance of the bias.
- Now you can dig a pit for a septic tank. The dimensions of the pit should be made 50 cm larger on each side than the size of the septic tank structure.
- The bottom of the pit is also covered with sand and compacted.
- To increase the strength, the bottom is concreted and reinforced (layer height 100 mm). If a plastic septic tank will be used, then it is worthwhile to provide for outlets of fittings in the form of eyes. A septic tank will then be attached to them to protect against floating.
- After that, you can proceed to the installation or construction of the tank from the selected material. The installation sequence depends on the material used. After installation, the joints of concrete rings are coated with a mixture of liquid glass and cement, and then fastened with brackets. Then holes are made for the pipeline and overflow. After connecting the pipes, the holes are sealed.The container is wrapped with roofing material from the outside, the ceiling and the hatch are mounted. A monolithic concrete septic tank is made using formwork and reinforcement. Holes between the chambers should be provided in advance so that they are not drilled later. In a plastic tank, you need to make holes for pipes, ventilation, aeration and overflows. After installation on a concrete base, this container is additionally fixed by the lugs in it.
Live bacteria for septic tanks
There is simply no centralized sewerage system outside the cities. Therefore, residents of private houses and cottages have to independently equip wastewater disposal.
There are several approaches that allow you to make an effective system with your own hands. Very often, more than 4 people can live permanently in a small area, which significantly affects the filling of the tank. As a result, cleaning or efficient processing will be required.
Modern solutions
Previously, the main method of disposal of wastewater and feces was to call in special equipment for pumping or change the location of the cesspool.
Today, a completely different approach is used, which allows almost completely processing human waste products.
In order to effectively dispose of wastewater, special preparations are used. These are bacteria that feed on organic matter. Due to the natural process, the environment is not harmed.
The following types of bacteria can be the basis in the preparations:
Each of them has certain advantages that people have learned to use. An important role is played by the composition of wastewater and the use of specific drugs. Microorganism-based products are available in liquid or tablet form.The latter must first be dissolved in water before use.
Aerobic bacteria
Waste metabolism by aerobic bacteria requires special conditions.
Oxygen is an essential ingredient in this process. It acts as a catalyst for the start of the process and is necessary throughout the processing of wastewater and faeces.
Compared to bacteria that do not require oxygen to decompose waste, anaerobic microorganisms have the following advantages:
- no unpleasant odor (methane), the process is accompanied by the release of thermal energy and carbon dioxide;
- the liquid is maximally purified to relatively pure water;
- minimum solid waste;
- residues of organic origin are environmentally friendly and can be used as fertilizer.
For greater efficiency, an oxygen blower is used. Periodically turning on the compressor will allow you to empty the tank with drains much faster. Topas septic tank would be an excellent solution. Today it is one of the best models of this type.
Anaerobic microorganisms
This type of bacteria does not require oxygen to survive.
The decomposition process consists in the sedimentation of all solid waste to the bottom. There they gradually rot. The liquid becomes transparent. Metabolism is not as fast as aerobic bacteria with oxygen.
There are also the following disadvantages:
- a significant percentage of solid residues that have not decomposed;
- processed products are not allowed to be used as fertilizer;
- methane is released during the process;
- requires the involvement of special equipment (vacuum truck);
- cleaning only 2/3 of the total volume.
When using anaerobic bacteria in the septic tank of a private house, additional cleaning is necessary through a sand and gravel layer. One of the best units is the tank septic tank. With it, you can effectively process household drains and feces. After the partially treated effluent enters the ground, additional treatment with natural aerobic bacteria takes place.
Combined application
Another way to dispose of wastewater and faeces is to use specially selected microorganisms. They are called bioactivators.
Under favorable conditions, they begin to act within 2 hours after entering the septic tank or cesspool.
For living bacteria, sufficient water must be provided.
Depending on the combination, the preparation has a corresponding instruction. Its strict observance will allow you to get the result indicated by the manufacturer. Modern preparations are quite effective and allow you to completely process almost all waste.
Combination of different types
The main advantage of adding different bacteria is maximum efficiency.
In this case, all the advantages of each type add up. As a result, cleaning the septic tank or cesspool is complete and requires a minimum amount of time.
In simple terms, the whole process is divided into three stages:
- decomposition of solid particles under the influence of anaerobic bacteria;
- further filtration with aerobic microorganisms;
- the remains are recycled by anaerobic bacteria.
Septic tanks that involve these stages of wastewater treatment have received excellent reviews. Septic tanks of a special design make it possible to avoid the involvement of special equipment for pumping wastewater. Or do it very rarely.
